Sometimes I get lucky enough to shoot couples like Andy and Sarah, who let me capture entirely candid photos of them for their engagement shoot.
That's how I grew passionate about photography in the first place. It's the unposed, unfiltered, and raw moments for me. I love looking through my viewfinder and watching the [constantly changing] scene in front me, deciding when I want to stop it in time. Add in beautiful people and all the feels of love, and I'm super into it.
Eileen + Ameya live in Boston right now, but have family in Minnesota where their wedding will be this summer. We met at the Como Conservatory since the weather was iffy. I'm so glad we chose the conservatory. The overcast day made for soft lighting, and it was still warm-ish enough for dresses! I loved their abundant laughter and how amazingly smart these two are. Congrats on your successes and engagement! See you soon.
It took us a while to find Hidden Falls, literally hidden away near the Mississippi River in Saint Paul. I never get tired of all the lovely little places the Twin Cities holds. Thanks, Alice and Danny, for not giving up on finding the falls, and for having an amazingly cute german shepherd. See you next year!
